On Wednesday, March 23rd, the Reunion of the Transplant Society for Latin- America and the Caribbean took place in the city of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
In this occasion, the meeting was presided by Dr. Ashley Baquero, we counted with the assistance of Dr. Domingo Casadei and Dr. Roberto Tanus (Argentina), Dr. Mireya Ortiz and Dr. Jose Toro (Chile), Dr. Alejandro Nino Murcia (Colombia), Dr. Maria Amalia Matamoros (Costa Rica), Dr. Josefina Alberu and Dr. Carmen Gracida (Mexico), Dr. Eduardo Santiago Delpin (Puerto Rico), Dr. Sergio Orihuela (Uruguay), Dr. David Arana (Venezuela).
Some of the important issues discussed in this reunion were among others: The presentation of the two new Training Centers for Improvement Scholarships of the Society, The Latin- American Transplant Records and the Coordination for the Assembly that was conducted, marked within the XXI Latin American Transplant Congress.
